31 year Teamster and current Local 150 Business Agent

Matt McKinley became a Local 150 Teamster in 1995, working at UPS while pursuing a double major at California State University Sacramento. Matt became a Shop Steward in 2000. After graduating from Sac State in 2007, Matt became a full-time package car driver. Matt served as a Shop Steward for 23 years.
Matt was elected a Trustee for Local 150 in 2020. He was appointed a Business Agent for Local 150 in 2023 and was elected as a full-term Agent later in 2023. Matt and his members won a 25-day strike against pharmaceutical corporation AmerisourceBergen (a.k.a. Cencora) in 2024.
Matt has negotiated over a dozen contracts as an Agent as well as winning numerous discharge, suspension and non-disciplinary grievances returning tens of thousands of dollars in lost wages, damages and penalties to his members.
