25 year Teamster and current Local 150 Business Agent

Matt Andrakowicz began his Teamster career in 2001 as a part-time employee at UPS. In 2004, he advanced to a full-time package car driver and became increasingly involved in union activities.

His dedication to member representation led to his appointment as a Shop Steward in 2008, During his tenure as Steward, Matt regularly participated in monthly local reviews and represented members by presenting cases at regional and national hearings. He also served on the Northern California UPS Negotiation Committee, participating in both NorCal and National contract negotiations in his capacity as a Shop Steward.

Matt’s commitment to the Teamsters Union resulted in his appointment as Trustee on the Executive Board, a position to which he was subsequently elected for three consecutive terms.
Following his service as Trustee, Matt was appointed Business Agent. Since 2020, he has served as an elected Business Agent and as a Political Field Organizer for the International Brotherhood of Teamsters.

In addition, Matt served on the 2023 Northern California UPS Negotiation Committee and participated in the 2023 UPS National Contract Negotiations.

Matt remains committed to working tirelessly and faithfully to ensure that Teamster members are effectively represented, protected, and heard.
