24 year Teamster and current Local 150 Business Agent

Jerry Raya started his Teamster career in 2002.  Jerry worked on the Sacramento Preload for 12 years.  He was trained to be a Union Shop Steward and has been a Steward for more than 15 years. Jerry was promoted to full time Package Car Driver for the Sacramento River City Center in 2014 and continued to serve as a Union Steward. He was appointed Warden for Teamsters Local 150 Executive Board in September of 2019 and continued that position through 2025. 

Jerry also serves as a Delegate for the Teamsters National Hispanic Caucus and has dedicated time and energy to educate our Union Brothers and Sisters. He became a Business Agent for Teamsters Local 150 in January of 2026.  Jerry has a passion to give back to his Members, Local, and Community.
