Dennis Lewis / 4 year Teamster and current Recording Secretary

Dennis is a Rank-and-File truck driver based in Rocklin, California, working for United Natural Foods Inc., where he serves as a Shop Steward. He has been a truck driver for 29 years and has spent 12 of those years with UNFI. Dennis was the lead organizer who helped unionize his workplace, making it the first UNFI facility to secure union medical benefits in a first time contract. Due to the success of this organizing campaign and negotiation, many other UNFI locations have since joined the Teamsters Union including the UNFI Rocklin Warehouse.

Dennis currently serves as the Recording Secretary on the Local 150 Executive Board.

He is passionate about fighting for the rights of his coworkers, holding the company accountable to the contract language, and protecting working people on the job. As a Shop Steward, Dennis is committed to representing his coworkers and firmly believes that solidarity is the foundation of real, lasting change.
