Dale Wentz
36 year Teamster and the current Local 150 Secretary Treasurer
Dale began his Teamsters career working at the UPS Sacramento hub in 1990 later on became a Package Car driver and eventually a Feeder driver. Dale also worked at Roadway Express from 1993 to 1997. He was a shop steward for 15 years. He had the pleasure of serving one year as Vice President of Local 150 Executive Board before being elected as a Business Agent in 2014 representing the UPS Sacramento Building, UPS Freight and American Metals members. In 2022, Teamsters General President Sean M. O’Brien appointed Dale to serve as a Package Division Representative and the Western Region TForce Freight Grievance Committee Co-Chair. In 2023, Dale was appointed to serve on the Teamsters National UPS and TForce Freight National Negotiating Committees.
Dale is the first officer of Local 150 to be elected to Teamsters Joint Council 7 Executive Board, where he serves as a Trustee.
As the Secretary-Treasurer of Local 150, Dale has worked hard to bring power back to the members, to support local and regional organizing efforts, bargained stronger contracts, and to increase membership participation in union events.
