Conor Tobin

16 year Teamster and current Local 150 Business Agent

Conor Tobin has been a proud Teamster for nearly 16 years (which is just shy of half of his entire life). He first stepped up as a Shop Steward at the Raley’s Distribution Center, while working as a Warehouseman. Eventually, while serving as Steward, he was elected to the negotiation committee by his peers, and from there was appointed to serve as a Trustee on the Executive Board at Local 150.

For the past five years, Conor has served as a Business Agent, where he has led bargaining contracts in multiple industries, including health care, grocery warehouse, recycling, construction, security, rendering and others. He’s known for his assertive no nonsense candor, and being thorough to make great strides at the bargaining table and achieve substantive improvements for his members healthcare, retirement, wages and working conditions.

Conor is also the Chairman of the Tony’s Fine Foods bargaining committee, representing 160 drivers across three states in 9 different Local Unions. His experience as chief negotiator has strengthened his ability to tackle complex issues and keep members united across multiple states.

He remains committed to fair contracts, honest communication, and strong representation for every member of the Local.
